Meet Bentley – The Snuggle-Rhino in Training

6 Years Old | Male | 100 lbs of Silver Sweetness | Neutered | Up-to-Date on Vaccines. Bentley is a big, goofy silver Weimaraner who’s been passed around a few too many times—but he’s still holding out hope that his forever person is out there. At 6 years old and around 100 lbs, Bentley brings the perfect blend of laid-back house dog and zoomie-happy goofball once he settles in.He’s currently staying with a trainer where he’s learning better leash manners, brushing up on his dog-to-dog communication, and working through some anxiety and insecurity. This boy wants to be part of a family—he just needs a little extra time to adjust and trust.What we’ve learned about Bentley:

   •   He’s extremely sweet and very people-focused.

   •   He LOVES treats and adores snuggles—this guy thinks he’s a weighted blanket.

   •   He’s incredibly attentive to his people and just wants to be near you.

   •   In the kitchen, he’s your loyal sous chef, quietly waiting for crumbs behind your feet.

   •   He’s crate trained, but has some separation anxiety that led to a shredded bed moment (artistic flair, if you ask him).

   •   When given free roam and a tidy counter, he’s actually quite respectful and well-behaved.

   •   He’s initially unsure and a little growly with other dogs but, with time and proper introductions, he settles in and starts to play. He just needs slow intros and patient humans.Bentley likely didn’t get much socialization in his previous life, but he’s making progress daily. He plays like a rhino, runs like a tank, and loves like a Velcro pup. He would thrive in a home that’s calm, patient, and understands that rescue isn’t a race—it’s a journey.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s already done with the puppy antics but still full of life and learning, Bentley might be your guy.
