Personality & Behavior

Yoshi is described as loving and affectionate, sometimes to the point of being a little clingy. She enjoys being close to her people and would happily claim her spot on the couch next to you. She can get excited when meeting people and may bark until she gets attention — once she does, she settles in.

   •   Crate trained & housebroken

   •   Sleeps in a crate in the living room

   •   Does not enjoy being alone but does fine crated

   •   Chill most of the time, but enjoys play

   •   Loves chewing (strong chewer toys recommended)

   •   Food motivated

   •   Good in the car

   •   Startles at sudden noises

Other Animals & Kids

   •   Dogs: Hit or miss. Gets along well with some dogs but not all.

   •   Cats: Not a good fit — she wants to chase (non-aggressively, but stressful for cats).

   •   Kids: Previously lived with a special needs child and did well.

Additional Notes

   •   Leash manners need work (she pulls)

   •   Nail trims initially required a muzzle per vet tech

   •   No bite history

   •   Possible mild separation anxiety
