Meet Nellie-Bell – The Silver Snuggle Queen
Currently being fostered in North Carolina, Nellie-Bell is a two-year-old, 55 lb silver Weimaraner with a heart of gold and the softest snuggles this side of the Mason-Dixon. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, housebroken, and ready to charm her way into your heart—and your bed. The Good Stuff:
Nellie is that perfect combo of playful and calm. She lives for a good game of chase with her dog pals and trots along with ease on her daily potty break playtimes. She loves a walk with extra sniff stops but is equally happy playing in a backyard. After a day of fun, she’s all about couch cuddles and will gently grab your hand when it’s bedtime like the affectionate little lovebug she is. Her signature move? Curling into your neck and sighing like she’s finally home. She’s Got Skills:
Nellie knows her basic commands, is housebroken on a schedule, rides like a pro in the car, and respects fences and baby gates. She’s not a chewer, doesn’t counter surf or jump, and barks only when she’s trying to get your attention (usually for love). Loud noises make her nervous, but she just glues herself to your side like the emotional support Weim you never knew you needed. Special Notes:
Nellie must be on a chicken-free diet (lamb, beef, or salmon only, please). She’s also just recovering from a pretty nasty ear infection and requires daily ear cleanings—though she’ll remind you that those ears are off-limits when they hurt. She’s not aggressive, just honest about her boundaries.
Nellie is friendly with other dogs and loves to play, but she isn’t one to suffer fools. If a dog is too in-her-face when she’s tired, she’ll let them know it. Give her a quiet bed or crate during downtime, and she’ll nap like an angel. She’s food possessive, so separate feeding is a must, but she shares toys like a champ. At Home:
She’s great left out when she’s the only dog home, but if there are other pups around, she’ll need a crate so she can sleep in peace without interruption. She may cry a bit at first, but then settles down easily. In Summary:
Nellie-Bell is sugar and sass in the most lovable package. She thrives with routine, affection, and space to play—but at the end of the day, she just wants a person to nuzzle. If you’re looking for a dog who adores you, plays hard, and cuddles harder… your girl is waiting.
