Foster
Part time friends, full time memories

We are always in need of foster homes. Weim's are a special breed, if you have experience we value it and can use your help. This can be as simple as providing transportation (we move a lot of weim's across the Southeast!), boarding or bringing a foster dog into your home for a few weeks/months.

The purpose of a foster home is to place a rescue dog immediately into a stable home environment, rather than a kennel. Many of the dogs that come to TWR are from shelters, are strays or other unstable circumstances and we feel a temporary foster home is the best place for the dog to better adjust to the changes, decompress and hopefully be adopted. The foster family helps support the goal of getting the foster dog adopted by providing information, up-to-date photos, and great antidotes. TWR covers the cost of all veterinary care while the dog is with a foster.
